Food Drive for Victims of Domestic violence was, again, a huge success!
The a'laMode salonspas team would like to thank our neighbors and patrons for their generous donations!
Pictured: The Hudson team with the first of two truck loads of food and non perishables, which were collected over the months' annual food drive, and will be donated to "Turning Point", a home for victims of domestic violence.
Prestigious Intercoiffure Mondial Hair and Fashion show.
As members of the prestigious "Intercoiffure Mondial" (an invite only association of some of the best hairdresser/salon owners around the world) the team at a'laMode salonspas regularly attends the associations fall hair and fashion show. The four hairdressing members of Hudson's a'laMode salonspa location attending this year were (lft. to right: Kelsi Scholz, Amber Longen, Stephanie Ohman, and Boni LaVelle).
 Throughout the two day event teams of hairdressers, make up artists and fashion designers show their visions of coming trends on the runway of the Waldorf Astorias' Grand Ballroom in Manhattan.
"The trends seen on this runway dictate what we see in the magazines and eventually on the streets" says LaVelle, Intercoiffure member.
 "I was happy to see a resurgence of some of the glamor from the 40's era starting to make it's way back on stage! There was a definite theme of long hair that was dressed and set with finger waves and femininity." As a salon that specializes in special occasion hair, we will be able to give our guests the newest and most glamorous looks of this year!"
